4317 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}11/KW. 20th November,1934. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Sessions Esq., Messrs. Donald Sessions & Co.Ltd., 906, Harrow Road, Willesden, LONDON, N.W.10. Dear Mr. Sessions, There is one point I would like to raise re the modified type rear Jack Brackets for the 20/25 HP. Chassis. When the Jack is fastened to the bracket in position, the portion of bracket which takes the Jack is rather offset to the centre of the spring pad, so that actually the weight of the car when jacked up is taken by the brackets with barely any direct support from the spring pads. Perhaps you will look into this matter and give us your comments. With regard to the front brackets, your strengthened set are definitely better in every respect, however, we enclose a blue print of our scheme which you will see is very similar to our present 40/50 type, and we would rather have these. We are despatching to you under separate cover a finished bracket as a pattern. At present we are extremely pressed with work on production, and we shall be pleased to know if you are in a position to supply these brackets with the Jacks. | ||
