Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} File 1022 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}4/GH.13.5.40. re RIPPLETTO RADIATOR. Further to your memo Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}11/JH.7.5.40., we observe that you have been waiting for information from us before starting the radiator for the above car. We assume that the 42 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} which you have selected for the size of the radiator has been obtained by simple proportion, and we suggest that we use a Morris fin and tube block for this job. We are attaching data sheet supplied by Morris Motors Ltd. giving the standard dimensions of their radiators, and we naturally suggest a three row block with the smallest outside dimensions that will fit into the design of the car. If, when these dimensions are obtained you will pass them on to us, we will obtain performance figures from Morris's and let you know whether this design will be satisfactory.
