Dear Cy.,

Second Experimental Left-hand Phantom II.

The above car was in London to-day and was seen by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} C. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} HO. We like the new arrangement of radiator bonnet and dash and Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} asked me to tell you that we have decided to standardise it as soon as possible.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} would like you to see this car as soon as convenient and to have your views as to whether you want the above arrangement for the 200 chassis as per contract. The car is going back to Derby to-day. On Monday Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} goes with it to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} said we could arrange for you to see the car in London on Tuesday next by asking Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to bring it to London on his way back from West WitteringHenry Royce's home town to Derby. Alternatively, you could see it at Derby when it returns there.

It is possible that the trade-mark name plate on the front of the radiator tank may be slightly reduced in size to keep it pro rata to the depth of the radiator tank.

One point I would suggest, namely that when you are looking at the radiator, if you see it without an R.R. mascot also please see it with an R.R. mascot.

Will you please let me know where and when you will see the car.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
