F.W. Howard, Esq.,
Ford Motor Company Ltd.,
Dagenham, ESSEX.

Dear Mr. Howard,

I must apologise for not having said "Thank you" before for the Gear Cyaniding you did for us.

The gearbox gears are at the moment running a Dynamometer Endurance Test. We will let you know how they stand up compared with our normal 5% nickel steel, when the test is finished as we imagine this information might interest you.

I am wondering whether you could give us some information on the reliability of Autopulse petrol pumps. We are not entirely satisfied with the fabric diaphragm type of pump, and should be grateful if you could give us some information on the behaviour of metal bellows.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
