PHANTOM 111 - BONNET REST PLATE.
Herewith the following scheme :-
F.CD.41 Modifications to Bonnet Rest Angle Brackets. P.lll.
These brackets E.86898/9 have broken both on the bumper and in France (see Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}4/JAB.24.8.37) so we are asking that they are made in .080 thick steel instead of .104 thick aluminium. The slot which is cut to clear the rib on the dashboard should also be reduced as shewn.
