Messrs. Leyland Motors Ltd.,
Leyland,
Lancs.

For the attention of Mr. Pilkington.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 17th July.

The writer will probably be in Ireland for the Tourist Trophy race at the beginning of September, and subsequently is having a short holiday, so that we would suggest your visit to Derby should take place between the 20th and the end of the month.

Since, however, this is rather a long time ahead, we should be glad if you would write about the end of August, suggesting two or three suitable days, so that we can confirm.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
