I notice a lot of Lagondas about with this type of wing and some experience with them might be very beneficial to us. Nevertheless, the speed will undoubtedly meet our first requirements as exemplified by this car with its present wings. I think a two-door open body would be even more attractive in appearance and more sporting than the four-door, and in order to sound the public taste in this respect I am proposing that we should consider ordering half the twelve open bodies with two-doors and the other six with four, and be guided by the demand as to which type we order in future. You might be interested to know that under favourable conditions of wind and road I reached a speed of 102 on the speedometer and on another occasion with a slight gradient in my favour 96 against the wind. In conclusion I think that if this car fails to satisfy anybody who is interested in such a car he would be very hard to please. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} urb | ||
