Confirming our conversation with reference to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s visit on Tuesday :-

(1) We should like SpectreCodename for Phantom III 2 to be out of the shop by lunch time on Tuesday with the Rolls-Royce Marles steering so that he can try it. We shall have to curtail the programme to enable this to be done.

We should have liked to have had the gearbox out of SpectreCodename for Phantom III 3 fitted, because the one in SpectreCodename for Phantom III 2 at present is a very bad example, but shall leave it to you in case they are not interchangeable without considerable modifications.

(2) Supercharging the Bentley.

We have been promising to show Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} a Bentley car fitted with a supercharger since the beginning of February. We should therefore like to make an effort to complete B-14 and put it in B-1 as soon as possible. We have asked Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth. to hand his engine over to you to-night to release the supercharger parts.

Will you please put the small oil holes to EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}51 in the lightened narrow pin rods before they are fitted to the engine.
