Broken 'U' clip found at the scene of an accident involving Chassis No. 4.B.IV.

Re Accident to Chassis No. 4.B.IV.

I spoke to Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} last night as you were out and told him that the salvage man at Bentley Service is positive that he picked up one 'U' clip which was broken and and put it in the back of the car.

This is borne out by another of their men who helped to load the car and is certain that this broken 'U' clip was in the car.

It was picked up close to where the bumper and broken portion of the side steering tube were found, near the car.

I shall be interested to hear from you if this has come to hand.
