S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 74449 CWB5/GM/16.5.28. 8-EX CAR. GREBEL SPOT LIGHT. Thank you for your Hsl/LG11.6.28. We have now been able to obtain further information regarding this spot light and are having one fitted up ourselves to a car for a trial of the system of switching over from head light to spot light and vice-versa. For your information, we have found that the British Agents of this light are Messrs. Boyriven Ltd., 9-10 Torrington Place, Gower Street, London, W.C.1., and that the spot lights are actually made in four sizes respectively, 280 mm, 240 mm, 180 mm, 135 mm. in diameter, and it was the smallest of these which you had fitted in 8-EX. We are also incorporating with this a change-over foot switch and have found a very suitable and well made one by Messrs. Bosch, type S.T.Z. 8 A 1, which is sold by Messrs. J.A. Stevens, 21 Upper Rathbone Place, W.1., at a cost of about 15/-. CWB. | ||
