Re Testing of Tyres on Bumping Rig.

Mr Johnson agrees that it would be worth while getting some solid tyres for our chasses to see how they behave on the bumping rig. Will you kindly get a set such as could be used on the Demonstration car or some such car running on the road, as well as on the bumping rig.

Mr Johnson also suggests that we might compare the Dunlop and the Palmer tyres on the bumping rig, to see how much the extra hardness of the Palmer tyres lessens the life of some of the parts. I understand that we have tested, or are about to test, twin tyres, and we might include in this list the so called over-size tyres, and also in some of the known standard tyres two widely different air pressures.
