JANUARY 1939. B.V. I find that I have made a slip in connection with the tool cost for the material. It struck me at the Conference that this was too high, and find that the figure I should have inserted was £7,000 not £30,000. Will you kindly correct the figure on the Agenda. There was an omission made viz. "Steering Wheel", this had been under the heading of Bentley 11 but as Bentley 11 is finishing and the wheel itself is really intended for Bentley V.{VIENNA} I had transferred it, but the particular sheet giving this information had been mislaid on my desk. The information in question is :- BENTLEY V.{VIENNA} STEERING WHEEL. This was in the minutes under Bentley 11 heading, in future it will be under Bentley V.{VIENNA} The new sample wheel with small section rim, 18" overall dia. will be available by the end of February. This date has gone back somewhat, owing to the fact that the makers had under-estimated the time in which they could produce the die for covering the wheel with cellulose acetate. BY.{R.W.
