Progress Report June 17th. 1940.

Herewith is the design progress report for the past fortnight. The reasons for the small number of schemes issued are -
(a) A certain amount of dislocation.
(b) Work on producing specifications.
(c) The bulk of the work in hand consists of design investigation into problems constituting the digging up of new ground, for example, the Myth engine, Lockheed brakes all round, column control for the Junior Gearbox and new front suspension in Rippletto.
