To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} >4663. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KT.4.5.31. 25-EX. We want to carry out a test on the torque reaction dampers on this car before we try the threaded shackles. Please therefore postpone fitting the latter for the time being. In addition to the torque reaction dampers that have already been prepared and which we want to try as they are, we should like you to look in-to a means of getting a fan on with this arrangement at some later date.
