| 4.3.24. -2- Contd. with increase of speed is preferable to one which remains up at a high ampere value. (N.B. 2000 r.p.m. of dynamo corresponds, assuming the more normal 11/50 axle ratio, approximately to 27.5 m.p.h. road speed.) Up to this point (2000 r.p.m.) the ampere output speed curve should lie completely above that given by the following figures, the dynamo operating terminal voltage being adjusted to be within ± .1 of the figure indicated by this table for each value of the ampere output.
