Entered in Log Book Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 200 Aill Lp.{Mr Lappin}9/JL. 13.11.40. RE: CHASSIS NO. B.22. AW. The above car has now done over 20,000 miles in a very satisfactory manner. There has been no trouble to speak of except the sticking of the carburetter dash pots. The following points may interest you :- 1. Brakes are good but servo is now groaning. 2. Steering is inclined to stiffen up and jagger a little at certain speeds. 3. Horn button makes bad contact. 4. A spare wheel was removed owing to a bad crack in the tread, and the remainder of the tyres are nearly finished with one exception. 5. The average petrol consumption is about 15.5 miles per gallon.
