Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X7420 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M22.6.28 'SS{S. Smith}' FRONT AXLE. X.7420 X.401 X.457 With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RmL/LG18.6.28., H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} thinks that an objection to putting the wheel further from the plane of the pivot would be the increased moment of any unbalanced force on the wheel. He would like you to test whether the effect of an identical unbalanced force is objectionably increased with the lengthened stub axles, as compared with present standard pivots.
