The Secretary, Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London, S.W.1. Dear Sir, Re: Chassis No. 14.B.V. - Mr. I.M. Waller. Your Reference T. FAS/HL. Reverting to your letter of the 12th December, 1939, we beg to inform you that it is now contemplated that the body belonging to Rolls-Royce Chassis No. 14.B.V, should be transported to this Country from France. To enable customs formalities to be arranged, our Paris House are asking if we can loan to them all the papers in connection with the car, which presumably refers to the Carnet. If you have no objection to loaning us the Carnet for this purpose, would you kindly address it to us at Derby, marking your envelope "For the attention of Mr. B. Pope". Yours faithfully, For & on behalf of Rolls-Royce Ltd., pp. John DeLooze, Secretary. | ||
