Clarifying orders and payments for various tyre Covers and Tubes.

Further to memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1/KW.9.5.36. in- forming us that six 6-00 x 19 Covers and six 6.00-19 Tubes detailed in our memo of the 6th instant were requisitioned in memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KW.17.4.36. The Order Office issued an order on the 22nd April 1936 for 5 Covers and 5 Tubes as instructed in your memo, the number of this order being 15377. The 5 Covers and 5 Tubes concerned were, however, charged to us on the 29th April and were sent direct to Mr. Hancock in France. You will see, therefore, the 6 Covers and Tubes detailed in our memo of the 6th instant are quite separate from those concerned in your memo of the 17th April so that we shall be obliged if you will issue the necessary instructions for an order to be issued. We also have an invoice from the Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd. for four 7.00-18 Dunlop Fort "R" Covers at £2/2/2d each less 9% which were sent to us on the 24th April for the Experimental Department. In this case also we have no covering order so that if they may be paid for, will you kindly issue the necessary instructions for these as well. G/Cam. [signature] | ||
