Re: MAYBACH TRANSMISSION.
In accordance with your request some time ago, we have kept in touch with the Maybach people with a view to obtaining further particulars regarding their new gear box.
We have now received a reply from the British Representative, Mr. Schneider, a copy of which is attached.
With regard to the paragraphs marked 'X', will you please say how you would like me to reply. Possibly the best thing to do would be to get Mr. Schneider up to Derby and to talk to him there rather than to put too much on paper at the moment.
