Bentley B.151.HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} - Mileage 34,693.

I am forwarding to you a piston taken out of the above car. The piston was found to be cracked while measurements were being taken of cylinder bores.

There was no complaint, the car having come in for a top decarb. The inspector noted what looked like a crack, so the block was lifted to confirm. I have removed the ring which was intact.
