Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Aston Cross,
Birmingham.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. W. Bond.

We beg to acknowledge your favour of the 3rd.inst. We regret we have not been able to give you any information before, as a matter of fact, the weather has been too bad to allow for dry road condition of tests, which is most essential. We have today, however, been able to get some tests through.

As stated in our letter of the 18th.ult: we can corroborate that the last set of tyres you supplied are a distinct improvement on the former models but we have no hesitation in saying that they are not yet quiet enough.

We have made careful comparisons with tyres of other makes together with your Magnums and we would suggest that you send your expert to Derby so that we can demonstrate this to him. Any day would be convenient to us.

Yours faithfully,
