For the attention of Mr.V.Russell.

Dear Sir,

Some time ago you sent us for Experimental Test a petrol gauge modified to, operate as a single wire type. We have been testing this on the bench and find that the moving arm of the tank units makes very bad contact with the resistance and we propose returning same to you for rectification before fitting to a car for test.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
