B-23-AE (B.15).

The above unit to be assembled as follows :-

(1) Crank to have an extra and opposite .2187 die hole in each Journal and .125 dia. hole in each crankpin.

(2) New set of standard production AC.2 main bearings and R.R. 56 shim.

(3) New set of standard production AC.7 big end bearings with R.R. 56 shims. The diametral clearance between the bearings and the crankpin to be .00225 which is to be the new figure on production owing to tightness experienced at .002.

New connecting rod bolts.

(4) AC. bypass filter arranged on the same way as 6.B.IV.

(5) Nos.1, 2 and 3 cylinder exhaust valves (Sil.X. Stellited) to be replaced by 3 (Sil.XCR. non Stellited) valves which we have supplied.

The diametral clearance in the guides on these 3 new valves to be .0015 - .002.
