CHASSIS WITH INTERLACED CRANK. --------------------------------------- It has been proposed that we try out a 20/25 HP. engine with one of the above type of cranks. This involves a low tension ignition controlling breaker having angles between the six cams of 30°, 60° and 90° e.g. (60° - 60° - 30° - 60° - 60° 90°). Will a 30° interval be sufficient to enable sufficient energy to be stored up in the coil to give a satisfactory spark at "break" at high speeds. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Signature: By] | ||
