HISPANO SERVO MOTOR.
X.1559.
X.4214

As pointed out in a previous report, when the Hispano unit was re-built we could not get any braking owing to the inefficiency of the servo. The previous figures given for the efficiency of the Hispano servo were taken with the servo in its ineffective condition. The figures attached were taken with the servo in a normal powerful condition.

These tests show a weakness in the Hispano servo insomuch as its efficiency depends so much on the bedding and wrapping of the shoes.
