Briggs this afternoon of the Technical staff of the Air Board, and is going to discuss the following points:- (1) Whether they will allow us to send Aero Engines away from these Works without rubber connections. (2) If we can get a modification of the present specification for these rubber connections. We are getting rubber connections from the Avon people to get us over our temporary difficulties. (2) TEST OF DYNAMOS. (a) Mr. Haldenby and Mr. Platford report:- Tackle for testing the dynamos is here in the Works, but we are now held up owing to the strike. SUPPLIES. DYNAMOS. (b) The question was also raised on the future supply of dynamos as they have only been ordered for the first 1000 chassis. An order for new dynamos would have to go out soon to ensure supplies. Mr. Whitehead is writing to ask a representative of Lucas to come over to the Works to see Mr. Bailey as early as possible this week. | ||
