Mr Shelton from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RECEIVED [stamp with MAR 2 on dial and 'Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' handwritten] X4237 BY12-P1.3.22. GOSHAWK 11. FAN. E; informs me that it is considered desirable by Mr Royce to issue the cowling for the fan which was got out with the intention of fitting louvres into same behind the bonnet. He thinks that in any case it would be desirable for Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to test this, as it will most probably increase noises very considerably, and from this point of view alone might be turned down.
