To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}11/KW.18.8.36.

Single Cylinder Bentley Unit.

Further to our note Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}16/JH.4.8.36, putting forward a programme for the High Power Head on the above unit, it now appears that practically all the component parts of the valve gear have been lost during the re-organisation schemes on test beds, and in the shop during the past six months.

As all spares for this job have been scrapped, we shall therefore require a new valve gear, and in addition to this all the other parts specified in memo. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel}1/BC. 10.12.34 which have not been modified by the note mentioned previously, and we should be obliged if you would put these in hand with the rest of the spares and parts asked for.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/J.L.Edwards.
