re: BENTLEY REAR AXLES "Perfect oil seals"
---------------------------------

With reference to our Sr/VAI/ET.24.6.37, concerning the special oil seals which we fitted to the undermentioned cars, the following is our report:-

CHASSIS B.60.GA :- Ex. Paris Trials car :-

The special type oil seals which we fitted to the above car covered 39.971 kilometres and gave no trouble. Owing to the failure of the extension piece of the rear axle pinion which carries the roller bearing , we had to dismantle the rear axle and fit a new set of gears.

As a matter of precaution, we fitted a set of new oil seals.

CHASSIS B.131.DK - VITURAT:-

This car has covered 29.282 Kms. since the fitting of the spcial oil seals and no trouble has been experienced.

CHASSIS B.173.EJ - COZZIKA :-

In our Sr/VAI/ET.24.6.37 we mention chassis B.137.EJ this was an error on our part. The above chassis ( B.173.EJ) has covered 12.219 miles since the fitting of the special oil seals and same are OK.
