X23V Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} C. E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} FN. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 12/KT.31.3.33. ADJUSTABLE SHOCK DAMPERS. Replying to Sg {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} 4/E30.3.33. We should like to arrange to demonstrate the controlled dampers on the Phantom on Thursday next. We recommend we fix up an appointment with you at Brooklands because one of the important things we wish to demonstrate is that at top speed the present low rating springs can be dangerous. We will arrange to bring 58-GN car at the same time. This is the type of car we wish to compare with, except of course 58-GN has the advantage of having a better steering than standard. We should be glad if you will let us know whether Thursday will be convenient. Any time after 11.0 am. at Brooklands would suit us. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
