5th December 1928.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Experimental Dept.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For attention of Mr.W.A. Robotham.

We beg to confirm the visit of the writer to your Works on the 3rd inst. and are pleased to note that with the 34 and 165 setting an excellent load curve was obtained.

You will note that this is a very appreciable improvement upon your standard performance at practically all parts of the curve and we suggest that the carburettor is now ready for a road test.

Assuming that you will be agreeable to this being carried out very shortly, we have sent the bench test figures to Paris and asked them to let us have an early date for a visit which we will in due course communicate to you when we hear from them.

We note that the throttle curve is not very good
