X4038 X7772 SPECIAL FUEL GAUGE TO SUIT AMERICAN CONDITIONS. We took up with Messrs. Hobsons (for the attention of Major Searight) the question of the special fuel gauge. They have no instrument in this country, but Major Searight is cabling tonight for two duplicate instruments and will supply us with the correct air lines to suit them. Major Searight is of the opinion that we shall have the gauge in 16 days at the outside, and if he can manage this it will be in time for fitting up on the second American car. At all events we have done all that can be done to obtain what is required, and Major Searight has stepped into the breach to do all that he can to ensure us getting what we require. BY.{R.W.
