The status of the new standard instrument patch for fitting experimental car electric clocks.

Would you please say what the position is with regard to the new standard instrument patch. As you may recall a number of experimental car clocks were obtained to suit this new patch and these have been duly bench tested and are in readiness for experimental road running but we cannot at present put these on such test because their diameter is too large for the instrument patches on experimental cars.
