6116 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.7/MA. 19th June, 1935. Messrs.Oculites (Aust) Ltd., St.George's House, 193, Regent Street, London, W.1. Dear Sirs, Regarding the visit of your Capt.P.V.Ryan to our Works we have examined the sample reflector loaned to us and whilst we agree that in principle the swivelling light is better than the fixed reflector we regret that we have no immediate application for the same. We will however keep the scheme in view should any occasion arise for the adaptation of the same on our headlamps. One disadvantage with your reflector is of course that they do not deflect the beam for dimming purposes. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
