the designs of the main magnetic switch and the hold on switch of a much less costly pattern than the old one we have been using, and as it will only require a simple single press button to work the whole starter we believe that the equipment will now be quite practical, and far simpler and less costly than the original arrangement.

It will be noticed that there are three distinct advantages over the other systems in general use, such as Bendix, Bijur, and the schemes on the Stutz and other cars. They are: (1) more silent engagement, avoiding the distressing noise, and rendering the gears more lasting.
(2) permitting of a small dia. pinion and therefore a smaller starter motor, avoiding the necessity of a large starter motor or double gearing for a heavy engine, and (3) silent disengagement independent of the careless handling of the press button.

Inconclusion, we must persevere to get this work ready for EAC.10. which we hope will be running in France in the spring of next year.
