The weight of the B.50 chassis weight complete with :- Petrol (18 gallons), Oil throughout chassis, water, headlamps, horns, bonnet, front apron, bonnet side strips, spare wheel and tyre, spare wheel carrier and dummy hub, front wing stays, centre floorboard, pedal gap plate, instruments and temporary instrument board, petrol filler and fitting, front bumper, semi-floating axle, and six ply 7.00 x 16 Dunlop tyres, but not including tools is 2832 lb - 0 ozs. = 25 cwts. 1 qr. 4 lb. A comparable weight for a B.V. (9.B.V) chassis but with four ply 6.50 x 16 tyres, 16 gallons of petrol, and a fully floating axle is 2735 lb. 3 ozs. = 24 cwts. 1 q. 19 lb. 3 ozs.
