Time to pass 5 galls. of water at 75º (1250 revs. of engine)
5 mins. 15 secs.

Clutch - ease of changing - very good.
No squeaks, no jaggers, picks up smoothly.

Brakes very spongy - fairly good ( 4 brakes) do not jagger.
Brake Test on wet Tarmacadam - London Road.

Springing. front - elliptic springs 10 leaves. 39" long - centre
axle bolted 21" from rear.
Rear - elliptic springs - 51½" long. underslung.
Springs take torque hard at slow speeds over
pot holes - good at high speeds.
Front inclined to buck jump.

Shock absorbers - rear only -(Houdaille)

Ignition -
Magneto S.E.V. two spark.
Timing - full retarded 3/16" B.T.D.C. measured on piston
full advanced 7/16" B.T.D.C.
