+7500 To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}5/LG18.6.28. RE. SUPPORT OF STEERING COLUMN +7430 WITH CAST DASH. With reference to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M15.6.28. We agree that the cast dash is quite satisfactory when the column is supported by a cast bracket as on 12-EX and 14-EX. On both cars the lug is present on the forward side of the base of the dash and we consider that this is an asset as it enables the cast dash to be held down firmly.
