LIVERPOOL.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letter of the 5th inst,
we have examined Patent No.153184 of 1920 which you refer
to. In view of Mr. Royce's desire to test one of these
silencers on an experimental car here, we will endeavour
to get hold of one, but we should like before doing so,
to view the one you have on exhibition on your "Iris" car.
Are you likely to be in Derby with it any time in the
future? if so, the writer would be glad to inspect it.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS ROYCE LTD.
