1282 C13 THE PETROLEUM BOARD SHELL-MEX HOUSE STRAND W.C.2 TELEPHONE—TEMPLE BAR 1234 Our ref. GWT/ES. Your ref. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Gry. {Shadwell Grylls} 8/JH. Date 19th October, 1939. G.H. Grylls, Esq., c/o Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Grylls, I was so pleased to get your letter of the 18th, and will certainly do what I can to help you to get the necessary petrol, which I assume is for purely experimental purposes. In your letter, however, you omit the main point from our angle, and that is the quantity you require, and also whether there is any question of continuity of supply required. You will appreciate that the latter will complicate matters very much indeed, but if it is only a few cans or something like that required, I think we should be able to fix it up. If you will give me the necessary information on this point, I will go ahead and let you know what I have fixed. With kindest regards, Yours sincerely, [Signature] | ||
