To give our customers what they require, therefore, it is necessary to reduce the space occupied by the driver and increase the space occupied by the customer. This can best be effected by B. type steering. As an example at Olympia, we tried showing cars of both types, namely, a large body with B. type steering and a small type body with C. type steering. The result was that we sold the large car at Olympia and obtained another order for a similar car, and we have been trying to sell the smaller car ever since and it is still unsold.

5. Use the long chassis without extra cost etc.

We practically never sell a short chassis in these days.

6. Examine coachbuilders drawings etc.

We are hopeful that W. will find on examination of their drawings that some of the restrictions may be modified. Coach-builders design their cars to the drawings supplied by W.

If S. can be of any assistance to W. in considering these points, we think a conference might usefully be held at an early date. Will Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} please advise me?

BJ.
