Vauxhall Motors Ltd. SPECIFICATION L.14. Engine Oil Specifications for Vauxhall and Bedford - 1937 and Future Models. 1. Composition. The oil shall be properly refined mineral oil. Oils which are compounded with a fatty oil are permissible provided that their fatty oil content does not exceed 5% and that the fatty oil is not castor oil or a similar readily oxidisable oil.
