Roy{Sir Henry Royce} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}11/JH. 17th November, 1937. Messrs. Borg & Beck Co.Ltd., Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa. Dear Sirs, Service Dept. In reply to your letter S/8790/JAH/GFM. of 15th inst. in view of the fact that the cost of servicing the 6 plates (4-10" and 2-11") referred to in your letter of 10th would be greater than the cost of new ones, please scrap these six. This means that out of the 36 plates we sent you, 6 will be scrapped and 30 made good and faced with Thermoid for £17.13.9d. Will you kindly confirm if this is entirely in order. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
