Extra Fuse for Bentley Headlamps.

Replying to your memo Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E.17.1.36, we now find that the addition of an accessory distribution board to the Bentley dash could be completed by the average tester mechanic in two hours, where the alternative scheme of altering the conductors on the existing distribution board would represent a day's work for a skilled electrician.

As the additional cost of the accessory distribution board is small compared with the time saved, and also a big factor is the time which the car would be out of the customer's hands we have decided on the accessory fuse board scheme, modifying existing cars.

I note your agreement to the convenient retrospective action proposed.

Will Ey/RD and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wat please make the necessary arrangements for sending conversion parts to "K" for the three Bentley trials cars, and inform 'E' when this has been done.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
