Dear Sirs,

We duly received yours ref.- EO.251120, of 25th inst. and noted that our front springs are already made from round edge steel.

As regards rear springs, our Design Dept. have explained that their request for square edge material arose from certain breakages on the clips, which they think will be remedied by the use of the solid clip and are therefore prepared to withdraw their request for the square edge material and revert to round edge.

With regard to our request that the rear springs be made from flat material, we have, in view of your explanation, reconsidered this and are prepared to withdraw the request.

We hope that now these points are settled, nothing stands in the way of your going full speed ahead with production.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
