Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Experimental Dept. Derby. Dear Sirs, As promised we are sending for your inspection only a sample single line unit incorporating the following features, as discussed in our former correspondence. Firstly, this unit is only a mock-up job, and was prepared for running trials on the writer's own 20 h.p. car. Therefore its finish and general design naturally leave something to be desired, but it gives an indication of the sort of appearance that can be attained with an efficiently working unit of this description. PERMITS (1). The unit is designed for a single line gauge installation. (2). It is intended to be placed centrally in the tank. (3). A sealed side filler, no higher than the top of the tank to which the unit is attached is provided for. | ||
