Dear Sir,

We thank you for your letter dated 3rd.January, and would say that we have given consideration to your query regarding the tax on your Rolls-Royce car.

All we can advise you, is that the basis for arriving at the tax payable on your car is the same as it was twelve years ago. Further, in view of the increased taxation, this will be at the rate of £1-5-0 per horse power.
