The headlamps now fitted to this car, which I understand have a different front glass, are definitely an improvement on the original lamps and are quite satisfactory for fast driving at night in clear air. The angle of the dipped light as now arranged is very good and gets immediate response from opposing traffic. The dipping mechanism, however, is sluggish and unreliable, and in the case of one lamp the spider holding the bulb has defective contact which diminishes the light. Lp.{Mr Lappin} | ||
