Re Cars for Bharatpur.

Rolls-Royce, Bombay, have telegraphed as follows:-

"Bharatpur requires balloon tyres all wheels on both Phantoms Customer insists whatever disadvantages."

We understand that both these New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I cars are being fitted with wagonette bodies for shooting purposes, the centre part being arranged so that it could be filled in for natives to squat. It seems unlikely that these cars will be used for high speed work.

Will you please advise us what is likely to be the effect of fitting balloon tyres to such cars?

B.J.
